About This Fundraiser
During a recent trip to the store for milk, Kody's CBRS, Karen noticed his only pair of shoes are 3 sizes too large for his feet. His shoes fall off as he walks. Wearing oversized shoes causes blistering, instability, and an altered gait. Kody has trouble tying laces, so Karen found a couple slip-on options like the red shoes in the photo. This will give Kody the proper support he needs to prevent damage to his feet, so he can better concentrate on his life-skills development.
About Kody
Kody was abused and neglected for much of his young life. He has difficulty solving problems, managing activities of daily living, and can't drive. Now in his mid-twenties, he lives in a supervised group home in Meridian. Kody is highly motivated to live independently, but still relies on the kindness of others to help him survive.
