"In society, there are many people who fall through the cracks, not because they aren’t trying, but because the system wasn’t built with them in mind. I want to help create spaces where people feel safe enough to be fully known and supported as they are. That is when the real work begins."

About Bryn

Life for Bryn is centered on deep relationships and a strong support system. As the eldest daughter in a family of four and an 'honorary aunt' to many, she has a natural inclination toward caretaking—extending even to her reverse Calico cat, Willow. An Idaho resident who finds her guiding principles in the humanistic work of Carl Rogers, Bryn’s weekend routine often involves hiking local trails, exploring new bookstores, or discovering local spots like Flourish Bakery.

Whether she is reading for ten minutes a day, cross-stitching, or attending a concert, Bryn embraces a life of creative curiosity. She is currently working toward a goal to hike through Scotland and Ireland. Her passions range from yoga and gardening to a deep appreciation for the storytelling of Taylor Swift. Bryn lives by the idea that change only becomes possible once we accept ourselves exactly as we are.

Early Life

Growing up in the family-centric suburbs of Layton, Utah, Bryn’s world was defined by books and a profound early education in empathy. While she was immersing herself in the release of Harry Potter novels or attending community dances, she was also witnessing the lived experience of her brother, who was diagnosed with autism when she was just three years old.

This upbringing provided Bryn with a standout perspective: she learned to see people beyond their external behaviors, recognizing that every action is a reaction to a deeper, often unseen cause. This origin story led her to an AP Psychology class that clicked, revealing a fascination with human behavior and a desire to help others understand themselves with the same clarity she sought for herself.

Education & Training

Bryn’s academic journey is a testament to resilience and showing up when the path is difficult. She earned her B.S. in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2022 and is currently finalizing her M.A. in Counseling at Boise State University, set for graduation in May 2026.

Her discipline was forged through collegiate leadership as the president of Chi Sigma Iota and as a 2024 NBCC Fellow. While her undergraduate internship at the Foundation for Family Life provided a research-driven foundation, it was the reality of growing up supporting her brother and his classmates that truly prepared her for the clinical field. She views the barriers she faced in her academic career as vital lessons, allowing her to meet clients exactly where they are with a perspective seasoned by both theory and lived experience.

My Vision for the Treasure Valley is expanded and accessible support for individuals who feel unseen or misunderstood in traditional clinical settings.

Visions Journey

Before joining the team, Bryn navigated the high-pressure worlds of sales and customer service training. However, it was her transition into CBRS work that provided the bridge to her current clinical role. She realized the organization was the right fit when she discovered a workplace culture that prioritized inclusivity and authenticity over rigid corporate standards.

Bryn’s professional utility is her ability to handle high-intensity clinical situations with resilience; she has proven her capability by helping non-verbal clients express complex emotions through patient, meaningful support. To Bryn, a common misconception in behavioral health is the idea that progress is always linear or easily measured. Her experience proved she can handle the weight of the work, helping non-verbal clients open up and identifying coping skills that prioritize the individual over the process.

Beyond Visions

Bryn’s growth mindset extends far beyond the office walls. Currently, she is mastering Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Existential-Humanistic theories, with plans to pursue ASAM certification and a future doctorate. Her ultimate career goal is to become a professor, educating the next generation of counselors while continuing her research on neurodivergence.

In her personal life, she is working toward becoming a certified yoga instructor and exploring the various outdoor landscapes across Idaho. Bryn views Visions as a unique environment within the Treasure Valley because leadership empowers practitioners to lead with authenticity. This genuineness extends to the populations she serves, helping them recognize the immense potential that has always been present within them.
